On 21st May, London AC, in partnership with Michael Taylor Search & Selection, hosted the remarkable Construction Giro D'Italia, in aid of raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. This charity ride brought together a passionate group of cyclists and supporters, all united by a common goal: to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.

Event Overview

The Construction Giro D'Italia was not just a cycling event; it was a celebration of community spirit and resilience. A total of 27 dedicated cyclists took to the roads, each pedalling with determination and purpose. The event featured a challenging route of over 400km, from Venice to Lake Como, that tested the limits of the riders while providing them with an opportunity to showcase their commitment to supporting a worthy cause. Participants trained rigorously leading up to the event, demonstrating their dedication not only to cycling but also to raising awareness and funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. The camaraderie among the riders was palpable, as they encouraged one another throughout the journey, embodying the spirit of teamwork and solidarity.

Impact of the Fundraising Efforts

Thanks to the incredible efforts of the cyclists, supporters, and the generosity of donors, the event raised an impressive total of **£85,785** for Macmillan Cancer Support. This substantial amount will go a long way in providing essential services and support to individuals and families affected by cancer, helping them navigate the challenges that come with a diagnosis.
