🚵 ONE WEEK TO GO 🚵

With just under one week left to go, we can now reveal the route our guys will be taking on the Construction Giro d’Italia.

The team are psyching themselves up for this epic 5 day trip, starting their journey on the Adriatic Coast in Venice and finishing at the beautiful Lake Como. Cycling through Venice’s flat plains to Lombardy’s hills while passing the Great Lakes of Italy, pedalling over a whopping 400km, they will be tackling alpine foothills, rocky valley paths and breathtaking climbs, with a high point of 674m, as featured on the Giro d’Italia.


Their route will take them 3 full days of cycling, with the following points:


1️⃣ Venice - a flat(ish) ride through quaint villages and over charming canals and rivers to ease into the ride.


2️⃣ Verona - a windy trail from this stunning city towards the lakes of the Lombardy region with spectacular scenery being the reward for the toughest 10 miles of the route


3️⃣ Lovere - a steady climb towards the final check point, riding through changing scenery from forests to open fields, historic villages and riverside towns


4️⃣ Lake Como - the perfect place to end our two-wheeled adventure!


Along the way, the team from London AC and Michael Taylor Search & Selection Ltd  will get to explore beautiful towns and the romantic city of Verona, one of northern Italy’s most attractive cities, all while raising money for a fantastic cause - Macmillan Cancer Support  💚


To date, we have raised a staggering £57,041 with your help. But we’re not stopping there - We’ve set ourselves a new target of £60,000 to reach before we head off! But we need your help, by simply sharing our posts you could do just that.
